"Say it and it is true"

Read on as a trainer reflects on the magic that can be found in the morning - and how adopting a positive mindset can be transformational in all areas of your life.

I firmly believe that our thoughts create our reality. You can choose how to feel about any situation, and how you feel will dictate your response and your reality.

More and more I am having people complain to me about how 'busy' they are.

It never really sits well with me. Is how 'busy' or how 'stressed' you feel meant to reflect how hard you work or how successful you are ?

What does being busy even mean ? What is the alternative ?

Having nothing to do? Placing limitations on yourself?

If you do indeed feel 'busy' I would like you to reflect on whether this is actually true, or if you are in fact just unorganized?

Would an extra hour or two in your day make the world of difference?

Over a week that would be 14 extra hours of productivity that could alleviate your from feeling overwhelmed and 'busy'.

When your alarm goes wake up grateful to have the day ahead of you to make things happen ! "Noone owes you a damn thing, but you can have anything you want if you work hard enough"

If you don't wake up feeling inspired and excited to make things happen within the next 24 hours…. You are yet to find your best life. Think about what it would take to make you jump out of bed, rather than roll over each morning.

Make a to do list. Then scrunch that piece of paper up- get rid of it! Whatever the first thing you wrote on that list was… just do that. Don't waste time creating background noise for yourself. Focus on what is important and get on with it.

I am committed to beginning each day with movement of some sort. Some days it is a walk, other days it is a more intense session with my trainer. I wake up earlier than most because in my experience, it's the only time I can consistently take for myself. I need this time because to me.. silence is golden.

I listen carefully to what my intuition is telling me, what my heart wants and what my mind knows to be true. The few regrets I have in my life have always come from times that I ignored these things.

I believe that the first things that you think about when you wake up, are the things you should really be pursuing.

Life is just amazing if you get out of your own way and choose to be exhilarated rather than exhausted.

Busy is a state of mind I wont subscribe to.

If you feel busy - its because you are actually doing things. You are LIVING.
