Fitness and Training

By Julian Casey at Southport

Starting a new job is an opportunity for reinvention. I walked in to Personal Training at Vision with an 'idea' of'what Personal Training was, Training a Person. Upon being welcomed with open arms to Vision Southport and the Legacy as a whole, my views have been replaced with something far more complex.  You see, my previous views in relation to starting a new job were: be on time, have a positive attitude, get involved but make sure you're not overdoing it. Your employer will be making a judgement about your potential from day one. Wrong. I have so far felt free to make mistakes and explore strengths and weaknesses working under Jack. And the comradery between my fellow collegues bares a striking resemblance to that as a cohesive sports team. Diving deeper into Vision Southport and what makes this place tick has made me realise that, yes Jack is an exceptional leader, however you can't help but appreciate how well the systesm is structured to achieve precise results for our clients and trainers as a whole. At the end of the day, I can go home satisfied that I have helped my clients in some way shape or form; and this is only possible by Vision workmates, leaders and the system itself.
