There are many benefits in participating in group training. It is motivating and engaging for some people to train with their close friends and family. For others it can be quite intimidating, especially if you don't know someone or haven't done the class before. If you can overcome this, the pros definitely out weight the cons.

Participating in group training is a fun and efficient way to increase your weekly physical activity. Joining a group class also has the added benefit of you not having your plan your work out, thus saving you valuable time which can help prevent procrastination before and during workouts.

Some people may like having someone telling them what to do and others simplyarenot sure what they should be doing - a group class can be the perfect solution to this problem. Participating in group class you will meet likeminded people who are trying to achieve similar goals. You can share tips and ideas concerning food and exercise with each other and organise to complete other sessions across the week together.

Every Trainer has their own way of organising the class and making sure everyone gets the most from the session. if you have questions you can always ask the Trainer before or after the class to clarify any issues.

It has been proven the more time you spend with a positive circle of influence, the greater your chances of achieving your goals. Group exercise is a great way to get a motivated circle of influence around you and help you push towards your goals.

It is an awesome way to make friends and get organised to do events together.

The more the merrier so they say!
