Many of us may be aware of the benefits of a healthier and more active lifestyle, improved health, improved cardiovascular health, muscle tone and many more.

Did you know that an added benefit of training and improving your health outcomes, is the direct and positive impact on your brain's cognitive function! This means that exercise not only improves our physical health, but also our mental and brain health.[1]

More specifically it will assist in helping your brain function at a much greater level, which will enhance your ability to handle pressure and stress.  For many pressure and stress is part of our everyday lives, and  likely will always be.

So short of quitting life and moving to a deserted island (where we would still find something to stress about), if we can instead make consistent steps with our training and ensure we make it a permanent part of our lifestyle we will always be able to handle pressure and stress in a much more positive direction.

The benefits of this may have positive impact in many different areas of your life, particularly in terms of a work capacity. Not only by being able to handle more but this could also have a positive impact on your ability to get pay increases and employment advances.
