I signed up for Vision after spending a long time in a pre-contemplative state. Life had gotten in the way, and I took a huge hiatus from regular exercise and from prioritizing my physical and emotional well-being. The juggle of work, motherhood, and everything else meant that I kept putting myself last.
When I finally decided to take the plunge, I was nervous, especially since it was my first time doing both personal training and weight training. However, fast forward nine months, and with the incredible support and guidance of my PTs, I’ve made significant changes to my body composition and drastically improved my metabolic health risks.
What’s surprised me most is how much I’ve come to enjoy incorporating weight training into my routine. I’ve not only grown physically stronger but also extended my knowledge of exercise prescription, thanks to the sound advice and personalized coaching from my trainers. I’ve learned to break through the longstanding mental blocks I had about pushing my body, and now, I feel the strongest, fittest, happiest, and most energetic I’ve felt in years. It's been such a rewarding journey, and I can’t wait to keep progressing!
