Before joining Vision, I was really struggling with my self-image and energy levels. I felt uncomfortable in my own skin and became embarrassed by how much my size had changed. I was feeling down, stuck in a rut, and didn’t know where to start. On top of that, I had a shoulder injury that required surgery, which left me in a lot of pain and made it difficult to stay active. The combination of pain and low mood made it even harder to make any improvements, and I found myself not paying much attention to what I was eating.
But since joining Vision Wollongong, I’ve been amazed at how much food I can actually enjoy while still losing weight. The weight loss has been a massive benefit, but what’s been even more valuable is how much it has boosted my energy levels and self-confidence. I’ve also had incredible support from Alex throughout this journey, which has made the process not only effective but genuinely enjoyable.
