With the onset of spring comes a sense of relief - the mornings are lighter, the days and nights warmer, our outfits a little bit more colourful. It's also the perfect time to kick your health and fitness regime into gear.

It may seem like we only just farewelled winter, but summer is already a mere 10 weeks away. That not only means skimpy swimwear, but also indulgent Christmas parties. Think long balmy days spent at the beach, making it even harder to find time for the gym.

So if you're planning to be body confident this year, now is the time to act.

Well, we've got a few ideas to get you going!

How about with an extra weekly session?

As part of our special Spring into Summer promotion, if you book an extra Personal Training session in during the months of September and October, you'll get $5 off all your scheduled sessions! Whether we add in a mega fat-burning cardio workout, or an ultra-toning resistance routine, we'll work out a plan with you to make sure we use the session wisely to ensure we get the maximum results. Nutrition game plan

Sometimes, even if you're training like a Trojan, your nutrition can hold you back. If you're struggling to see results, taking a look at what you're putting into your body can be a good place to start. Ask your trainer about scheduling in a nutrition session so we can kick any concerns to the curb and ensure you're eating your way to a better body.

Set a shiny new goal

As you will probably have noticed by now, here at Vision Personal Training St Ives, we're big fans of goal-setting. Not only does it give you a target to work towards, but it makes sure that you get results that will really make a difference to your life. What better time than now to sit down in a goal session with your trainer and work out a new goal to get you all motivated, inspired and ready for action?

Sometimes, training for an event can give you just the focus that you need to get on track - fortunately the Sydney events calendar is bursting with sporting antics. One for the calendar is the Bare Creek Trail Run on Sunday November 27. There's a 6km and a 10km catering to runners and families alike. Furthermore, we'll be doing this one as a studio - so get your name on the list!

Now those woolly winter clothes have been banished to the back of the wardrobe, it's time to start channelling summer. Shops are filled with the new season's collections so why not have a browse and treat yourself to something new? A few new additions to the wardrobe are the perfect motivation to get working on that summer body.
