I felt slack and lethargic, and I was weighed down by health problems. I did not think much about using exercise to help improve my health. I was much too focused on my health problems, and I felt that with all the operations I had that I would not benefit from physical exercise and diet changes that is key to better health.
The most surprising thing is that my body has been able to handle the stresses of training, and this is one path to my future health and wellbeing that I did not expect. I thank the personal trainers for helping me to realise that almost anything is possible if a person persists. The biggest benefit has been my ability to lose 12 kg in weight in four or so months, something I did not think was possible. I also found that motivation becomes easier when I have a routine to follow and a guide to help me on my journey.
