Tommy has been training at the Southport Studio for just over a year, looking to have healthy sustainable habits as he entered his 50s. Having previously had a history of triathlon, running and sport; Tommy had let these endeavours pass as injuries and lifestyles changed.
Coming to training at Vision, Jack and Tommy developed a great structure to rehab some of his old knee/shoulder niggles whilst building great new strength to injury proof his body.
As these habits formed, Tommy started to wonder if getting back into running was a possibility but was worried about old injuries flaring up. Setting a clean, easy to follow running plan that slowly built up the weekly kms, Tommy was quickly feeling great again balancing the training and still having great energy with his nutrition staying consistent. He has just completed his first Half marathon since 2016 at the GC Marathon weekend and now looking to finish 2023 strong with 3 more events!
