Meet Louise! Now 20 kgs lighter, has gone from a size 26 to a size 12, dropping 7 dress sizes. Embracing her new lifestyle, Louise has cleared out her wardrobe, throwing away 3 bags of clothes, determined never to go back to her old habits.
She has achieved an incredible transformation and reached a significant milestone on her fitness journey which we are proud to celebrate.
Louise used to struggle with an unhealthy diet, often skipping meals and snacking on lollies and Big Macs. Her lifestyle was sedentary as she worked from home in a customer experience role, spending most of her day sitting in her home office.
Over the course of 5 months, Louise managed to lose weight and maintain her progress through healthy habits. In the past, Louise had lost weight using an unsustainable 800-calorie diet, which eventually caused her to regain the weight.
The turning point came when Louise began incorporating morning group training sessions and increasing her daily steps by walking more. Put simply, doing exercise she actually enjoys! A major change that contributed to her success was planning and tracking her food intake, which led to awareness and sustainable weight loss.
Louise’s commitment to fitness has led to noticeable changes in her body shape, which her friends have noticed thanks to her resistance training routine.
Recently she achieved an awesome achievement completing a 1.2 km run time trial on the treadmill, finishing in our top spot with a time of 8 minutes and 30 seconds in our Hall of Fame. An accomplishment she never thought possible, given her previous fitness levels.
Louise’s story is a testament to the power of dedication, sustainable habits, and the impact of a supportive community.
